Welcome to COCO-MAT NL! The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to COCO-MAT NL. COCO-MAT NL operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services to provide you, the customer, with a personalised shopping experience (the “Services”). COCO-MAT NL is powered by Shopify, which enables us to deliver the Services to you.

The following general terms and conditions, including all policies referenced herein (the “Terms of Service” or “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when using our Services.

ARTICLE 1 – ACCESS & ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are of legal age in the state or province where you reside, and that you have given us permission to allow any minor family members to use the Services on devices you own, purchase, or control.
To use the Services—such as browsing our online stores or purchasing products or services—we may ask you to provide certain information, including your email address and your billing, payment, and shipping details. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have all necessary rights to provide this information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to anyone else.

ARTICLE 2 – OUR PRODUCTS

We aim to provide accurate descriptions of our products and services. However, colours and product appearance may vary depending on your device and its display settings.
We do not guarantee that the appearance or quality of any products or services will meet your expectations or match their descriptions or images.
All product descriptions may be changed at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and to limit the quantities we offer per person, per region, or per jurisdiction.

ARTICLE 3.1 – ORDERS

When you place an order, you submit an offer to purchase. COCO-MAT NL reserves the right to accept or refuse any order at its sole discretion. An order is only accepted once COCO-MAT NL has confirmed it. Payment must be received and processed before an order is accepted.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it. COCO-MAT NL may not be able to accommodate cancellation requests after acceptance. If we do not accept, modify, or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information provided during checkout.
Returns and exchanges may only be made in accordance with our Refund Policy [LINK].
You represent and warrant that your purchases are for personal or household use only and not for commercial resale or export.

ARTICLE 3.2 – WARRANTY CONDITIONS & PROPER USE OF MATTRESSES AND TOPPERS

To ensure optimal performance and durability of our products, correct usage is essential. Failure to follow these guidelines voids the warranty.

Note: Mattresses and toppers cannot be returned due to customisation.

Toppers

A topper is designed to add comfort to a well-supporting mattress.

  • A topper cannot make a mattress firmer.

  • A topper cannot repair an old mattress showing contouring (sagging).
    Use of a topper on:
    • an overly soft base
    • a mattress with existing contouring
    • a COCO-MAT mattress already showing contouring
    voids the warranty.

Mattresses

The correct base is crucial.
We strongly advise against:

  • non–COCO-MAT box springs (we cannot ensure compatibility)

  • flexible slatted bases

  • placing a mattress on another COCO-MAT mattress that already has contouring

Improper or overly soft support causes contouring and voids the warranty.

Weight Guidelines

Each mattress is designed for a specific weight range. Use outside the recommended range may lead to premature wear and contouring, voiding the warranty.
Maximum weight per person varies per model. Contact our store for personalised advice. Each product page clearly lists the recommended maximum weight.

Return Policy

Mattresses and toppers are made to order and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
Products not used according to these guidelines are not covered by warranty.

ARTICLE 4 – PRICES & BILLING

Prices, discounts, and promotions may change without notice. The price charged is the price at the time the order is placed, as confirmed in your order confirmation email.
Prices exclude taxes, shipping, handling, customs duties, and import fees unless otherwise stated.
Online prices may differ from prices in physical stores or third-party retailers.
You agree to provide complete and accurate purchase, payment, and account information, and to update it promptly.
You represent and warrant that your payment information is correct and that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

ARTICLE 5 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We are not responsible for shipping delays. All delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control.
Ownership and risk transfer to you once the products are handed over to the carrier.

ARTICLE 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Services—including trademarks, text, images, graphics, design, and all related content—are owned by COCO-MAT NL, its affiliates, or licensors, and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Use is limited to personal, non-commercial purposes.
Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display is prohibited without written consent.

Shopify trademarks belong to Shopify. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

ARTICLE 7 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

You may have access to tools provided by third parties.
These are offered “as is” and without warranties.
Use of third-party tools is entirely at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.

ARTICLE 8 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our Services may include links or embedded content from third-party sites.
We are not responsible for evaluating their content, accuracy, or practices.
Any interaction with third-party sites is at your own risk.

ARTICLE 9 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

COCO-MAT NL uses Shopify to provide the Services. However, all purchases and sales are directly between you and COCO-MAT NL.
You expressly release Shopify from all claims related to your purchases.

ARTICLE 10 – PRIVACY POLICY

All personal data collected is subject to our Privacy Policy [LINK] and, in some cases, Shopify’s Privacy Policy.
Because Shopify hosts our Services, Shopify may collect and process data related to your access and usage.

By submitting feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, and display your feedback for any purpose.
You warrant that you own all rights to the feedback you submit.

If any provision is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will still apply.

ARTICLE 19 – WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT

Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.

You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent.
We may assign our rights without notice.
